Maureen Alderson is currently the Programme Leader for the foundation degree and Lecturer for the BSc in Community and Public Services at City College Plymouth.
Prior to this role, she had extensive experience working in government, politics and public policy in both the UK and the USA. She has worked for the City of New York; Plymouth City Council; LGiU; SWDRA; and Common Purpose. In addition to this, Maureen has also served on a number of Boards as a non-executive director including the Centre for Public Scrutiny, Plymouth Community Homes and is currently on the Board of West Country Academy Trust as well as for the Museum of Policing in Devon and Cornwall.
She brings her extensive experience in governance, risk and public service to the Board.
